Suryakumar out, Shreyas Iyer appointed captain of Indian T20 team

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has withdrawn the captaincy of the T20 format from Suryakumar Yadav.

The Indian board has appointed Shreyas Iyer as the new captain of the T20 team.

The BCCI has also announced the T20 squads for the tour of Ireland, England and the Asian Games.

It should be noted that Shreyas Iyer will also lead the Indian team in the Asian Games
