Zimbabwe upset former world champions Australia in a big T20 World Cup group match
In the match being played in Colombo, Zimbabwe scored 169 runs while batting first and gave Australia a target of 170 runs to win
Chasing the target of 170 runs, the Australian team was bowled out for 146 runs in the 20th over and thus Zimbabwe won by 23 runs.
Batting first, Zimbabwe scored 169 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs, Brian Bennett played a brilliant innings of 64 runs while Tadionshe Murumani and Ryan Burrell scored 35 runs each. Sikandar Raza also played an innings of 25 runs.
Apart from Matt Renshaw, no player from Australia could compete with the Zimbabwean bowlers and the entire team was bowled out for 146 runs. Renshaw played an innings of 65 runs while Glenn Maxwell scored 31 runs.
