The toss of the match played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore was delayed due to rain. However, after a long time, Multan Sultans won the toss and decided to field against Lahore Qalandars.
The match was limited to 13 overs per innings due to rain.
Lahore Qalandars scored 185 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the stipulated 13 overs. Mohammad Naeem and Pervez Hussain were prominent by scoring 60 and 45 runs. In addition, Abdullah Shafiq scored 33 and Sikandar Raza scored 13 runs.
