The entire Bangladesh team collapsed for 64 runs in the first innings of the second Test against Australia.
In the Test being played at the Great Barrier Reef Arena, Mackay, Australia, Australia won the toss and invited Bangladesh to bat first, but the Bengali batters proved to be a wall of sand in front of the devastating bowling of the Kangaroos fast bowlers.
Bangladesh's number 11 batsman Sharif Islam stood out by scoring 14 runs, while Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Tejul Islam scored 11 runs each.
For Australia, Mitchell Starc took 6 for 12 in 10 overs, while Pat Cummins took 3 wickets and Jose Hazlewood took one wicket.
It should be noted that in the first Test match, Bangladesh achieved a historic victory by defeating Australia for the first time on their own soil. Bangladesh had defeated Australia by 9 wickets in the Darwin Test.
